About McCall Public Library Foundation
About the Foundation
The McCall Public Library Foundation was incorporated in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to support library expansion efforts.
Formed by an enthusiastic and dedicated group of local volunteers, the Foundation began its fundraising campaign in earnest in 2019, helping build the momentum that made a transformational library expansion possible.
The Foundation helped champion the successful 2021 bond measure that passed with an extraordinary 78% yes vote, raised $2.5 million to support the Library expansion, and has fully funded the newly opened Children’s Discovery Garden.
Today, the Foundation continues to support projects, programs, and opportunities that help the library thrive as a cornerstone of community life.

Strong public libraries are built through partnership.
Taxpayer funding: provides operations, staffing, and core services.
Private philanthropy: supports expanded spaces, special projects, innovative programming, and opportunities that public funding alone often cannot provide.
Civic investment + community generosity = a stronger, more vibrant library for everyone.
Our Board & Staff
The Foundation is led by community members who believe in the power of libraries to strengthen lives, expand opportunity, and enrich McCall.

From the Library Director
McCall Library Foundation has earned my absolute trust, confidence, and gratitude. Our partnership has changed the trajectory of this library. They’ve cultivated philanthropic support at a level we simply didn’t have before. The new library facility is a powerful example of what that partnership has accomplished, and their continued support will make more innovation possible.
