The nonprofit McCall Public Library Foundation is organized to stimulate the interest of the public, friends, and supporters of the library in its development and enhancement of free public library services and its facilities.
The nonprofit McCall Public Library Foundation was incorporated in 2018 as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization to support library enhancement efforts by the City of McCall, the Library Board of Trustees, and other dedicated community volunteers.
The Foundation's present focus is on supporting the McCall Public Library sponsors and benefactors in raising $6 million dollars from multiple sources to build a new library facility to serve the expanding information service and civic needs of the McCall and Valley County citizens. The library has created a community where reading, learning and imagination thrive but requires more space to meet patrons' needs. Though 64% of McCall's citizens voted yes for the library expansion bond, we fell short of the 66.7% needed to pass. But the Foundation's mission remains: To safeguard your donations that support future expansions and the operation of McCall's public library.
