Built in 1972, Our 50-year-old Library had changed very little since its construction, while McCall's population has nearly doubled.
In just the last decade, circulation is up 85% and program attendance has increased by an astounding 550%!
Our Library is bursting at the seams! It lacks space for programming, gathering, lectures, books, technology or children's discovery areas to meet the needs of our community.

The newly constructed portion of the library expansion opened on May 18 and is loved by our community!
Now in Chapter 2, the old library space is being remodeled to complete this incredible community resource. It will offer a community room, a tech-integrated conference room, and a public exhibition and gallery space.
Chapter 2 will also include a retail space for McCall Rec Department so that families can sign up for rec programs and check out rec equipment while visiting the library.
